I guess not. It's more about keeping people like myself in check. So other people that attract other people with rediculous threads so that a whole lot more people here see and click on advertising banners. Advertising pays the bills and members pay the advertisers.

It's that simple.

Actually, the whole process of the advertising thing isn't so simple.
