This is my exact thought. In my opinion this is Holygrail - he's probably getting a cheap laugh out of how popular his "i'm collecting info to post in 1 hour / day / week" threads are, when no info is EVER posted.....

If it turns out to be the same guy and nothing happens when the hour passes I suggest an IP ban to keep this guy from continueing this behavior.

As a noob here, my question is: does this sort of chain yanking goings on occur often on ATS? After perusing many threads over the short span of time since my registration, I'm beginning to think hoaxsters frequent this site with their fake 'oh-my-God-looky-at-this-fantastic-space-alien-vid-I-captured' poop. And then an occasional, 'but-wait-I-will-be-back-later-soon-as-I-figure-how-to-upload-to-Youtube' nonsense... and they never come back. Anyway, I find it amusing there are so many time-wasters pulling that off and thinking long-time experienced ATSers are going to fall for it. Maybe I shouldn't find it amusing, but for some reason I do.

I enjoy ATS more than you know, and very glad I found it.

Mods can we get an IP check on this OP please and compare with some similar suspects?

Threads like this give ats a bad name and waste bandwidth.

most long time ATS'ers aren't "falling for it", They know its BS. But, (some long time ATS folks are up-and coming stand up comedians) and use this opportunity to test good one liners. IMHO
