Villagers spot UFOs near Bala

VILLAGERS have spoken of their intrigue after they spotted what they believe were UFOs near Bala.

A family from Llanuwchllyn, Gwynedd said they saw bright orange circular objects rising above the Berwyn mountains.

The latest reports come from the same area where similar reports sparked world-wide speculation in the 1970s, and they echo more recent claims of sightings around Caerwys last week.

In the most famous of those, the Berwyn Mountains incident in 1974, there were claims a UFO (Unidentified Flying Object) crashed and "bodies" were retrieved and taken away by soldiers.

That incident was referred to as the "Welsh Roswell."
