Just saw this and wondered what others thought? I was under the impression that anyone who invents anything that puts the power companies in an awkward position either are paid off or taken down?

Well, he has only proposed it at this point. Even if it does get off the ground, I would still remain skeptical until someone actually wins the prize.

I'd be much more impressed if he had offered the same amount of money to someone who could create a politician that 'far surpasses' existing politicians....one which actually performs as advertised.
