Police Helicopter Targeted by UFO over RAF Base UK

A police helicopter with three experienced Police Officers on board spotted and tracked a UFO over an RAF maintenance and Repair Base in South Wales on the 7th of June 08.

The Base is RAF St Athan and is were many of the UK RAF jets for servicing and refuelling. It is also very close to a Local International Airport and around a couple of minutes flying time (in a conventional plane!) from the crop circle centres, and other such places of high strangeness such as Glastonbury. They are just over the estuary. It is also very close to Nuclear reactor in the Bristol/Avon area.

This area has had many sightings in the past and reports from years ago seem to indicate that the UFO's are quite keen on observing this RAF base. Jets were intercepted many years ago following a rash of sightings to chase the objects.

The base has just had a massive funding plan agreed and will become a major academy of training for many of the armed services in the UK.

A police helicopter crew has spotted what is described as an unusual aircraft in the Vale of Glamorgan.

The helicopter was above St Athan, which is home to an RAF base and close to Cardiff International Airport.

But three-man crew could not capture any images before the object vanished over the Bristol Channel on 7 June.

South Wales Police said the helicopter did not give chase and described the crew as very experienced. The sighting has been reported for investigation.

Apparently the UFO aimed for the Helicopter and they had to swerve to avoid it!

Police reportedly gave chase to an UFO near a military base in Cardiff in what is the latest in the chain of claimed alien sightings in Britain. A three-member police team in a helicopter was on its way back to a defence base at St. Athan, near Cardiff. They were hovering about 500 feet above the ground, awaiting clearance to land when the aliens struck.

The pilot apparently noticed a strange craft approaching them from below. It was aiming straight for the helicopter at great speed and the police pilot swerved sharply to avoid a collision.

Well if it did come from below and the helicopter was hovering over the RAF base... well the UFO must have been in/on the base or part of its operations?

interesting stuff and certainly the UK seems to be a centre of UFO at the moment.

I cant find the previous sightings and chases here from the jets at the base as in a hurry but definitely did happen many times before!
