Well what was happening around the 4th of June, 1962?
Vietnam hadnt started yet.. Korea was long over.. nothing springs to mind for me

1962 was the time of the Cuban missile crisis. So we had a LOT of planes in the air. Was not a fun time, still remember duck and cover drills.

mabye it was just a test of somekinda anti missle weapon ?
or mabye they were just target practising?
