Military keeping track of retired military

Topic started on 18-6-2008 @ 10:50 AM by Wakingup

Just curious.....
My husband retired from the Army in 1992 and ever since we get a phone call or letter requesting confirmation on his where-a-bouts from the Military. Has this happened to any other Retired Military ?

Yup. Retired from the USAF in 2003. Got a similar letter. Is there a reason you're concerned about this? I would be concerned the anti-Second Amendment people (Think you have an idea who they are. Obama happens to be one of them.) would get a hold of this info in preparation of their planned scourge of those willing to defend the Constitution and the U.S. from a Socialist takeover of the government. But that's just me.

sounds more like the military is scraping the bottom now when it comes too new recruits. now looking for people who have just left in case they need more for war. i had 8.5 years in the navy, got out in jan of 95. had no phone call or anything like this.

Yep, I'm concerned very much.
He was infantry instructor and was sent all over the world with high security clearance. He seems to think they will call him back under some section or article(maybe a draft) ? yes i'm concerned

I am retired Army and had numerous security clearances... and have yet to be fully declassified.... they do this now and then if that is the case, but sometimes they just follow up on people that might still be of age to re enlist.....
