Plane abandoned at Hanoi airport

news.bbc.co.uk

Vietnamese authorities say they are mystified as to who owns a Boeing 727 which has been abandoned at Hanoi's Noi Bai airport.

The plane was flown in from Siem Reap in neighbouring Cambodia in late 2007 and has been unclaimed ever since.

Bizarre!

Who would leave a plane behind?

It's not like you could just forget it!

It could be a leftover item from an undercover op of some kind.

Weird!

And not long after the Vietnam UFO incident - could be a link somewhere.

Wasn't there a plane stolen from Holland or somewhere last year?

Seems the first thing to do is check it's serial numbers..

edit: The plane I was thinking of was stolen from Angola in 2003. www.freerepublic.com...

Well if no one claims it, I think the best thing to do with it would be to nose dive it into a field and see what kind of hole it makes...
