Rep. Dennis Kucinich motions to Impeach Bush

weblogs.baltimoresun.com

On the House floor this evening, the Ohio Democrat proposed impeaching President Bush. In language similar to that in the articles of impeachment he raised against Cheney, Kucinich sought support for a 35-count indictment charging Bush with misleading Congress and the American people into war with tales of weapons of mass destruction in Iraq.

No it wont happen its just a dog and pony show. The same kind that congress has when the grill the oil execs, grill the big CEOs over unfair pay, grilling baseball players congress doesnt do Shiite anymore. I do commend Kucinich for at least making an effort which is more than I can say for 99% of congress.

Wasn't he the Presidential Democratic Candidate that admitted to seeing a UFO? If it's the same one he has some big brass....knuckles somewhere

I wouldn't have voted for him but if it's him, I admire him for admitting his sighting.

I love Dennis Kucinich, he is, ad has been, my #1 choice for office. I also covit his wife

Sadly I hear he has big brass balls, and mine simply can not compete.

HE got nowhere with Cheney and I am sure he will get nowhere with Bush, but bless his heart for not sitting on his hands doing nothing.

i agree about his wife very nice! haha

but i would say that he did pretty well with cheney. if the republicans had wanted they almost supported dennis motion to impeach cheney to show that the democrats wouldnt support it (basically showing the dems to be complete hypocrites)

but sadly it was all political posturing and nothing happend because both parties are controled by the same side.

but if nothing else it gets debate going and although i dont like some of dennis socialist ideas he gets a standing salute from me for standing up for this country.

godspeed!

Not that I believe in UFO's, never seen one, can't prove aliens exist, or don't, but isn't it kind of strange that they're waiting until five months until the election where Bush will be thankfully thrown out of office, and that the one person who claims to have seen a UFO is the one who screams Impeachment?

HHHmmm...kind of like, Bush will turn around and tell him what a "Lone Nutcase" he is, or try to discredit him for "seeing a UFO"?

Which of course, will yet again, divide the nation, since some think UFO's are real and some don't, thereby causing more and more strife in an already panicked public, not knowing how to deal with a grade A idiot for President who screams WMD in Iraq and "terror, terror, terror", and shakes his big fist in the air in threat to invade people's countries who don't support America.

Maybe this will be when the "alien acknowledgement" will come to the light of day or even a "False-Flag Operation schemed as an alien attack" might happen.

Another surefire way to cause mass hysteria, and or unknowing caustic damage to society, which seems to be this idiot savant's speciality.

Wait, to be an idiot savant, one has to actually do or say something smart, so that would just be idiot.

It may only be 5 months until the end of Bush's term, but as you might have noticed, a LOT of damage can be done to the economy and the country in such a short amount of time. He wants to save us 5 months' worth of further damage.

.

Okay, well from what I remember, when they tried to Impeach Clinton over the Lewinsky scandal, he stonewalled for over a year, which lead to nothing happening, not that Ken Starr was really trying, it was all a "dog and pony show" anyway.

That's why I asked why bother, when we've got five months, it's another "dog and pony show" being that it's basically meaningless, and worthless, just like Bush. Wow, what a coinky-dink.

It's a little too late to impeach Bush, he's almost out of office any way. Only a few months left until a new President is elected.

Unless we have a major national emergency and he declares martial law and rides this show for who knows how long.

Yeah, it is far too late to go for impeachment. Nice to have the mark on his record, but it sure is expensive to impeach a president that is almost out of office anyway. If Kucinich wants to impress the heck out of me, he should bring treason charges against Bush and company. THAT would be a trial worth watching.

tell me are you joking or just willfully ignorant?

keeping americans safe? you have got to be kidding me. you know i supported bush at first because i believed all that terrorism stuff. but if bush cares so much about terrorism why the hell are our borders wide open?

why dosnt he do anything about it?

because bush dosnt give a flying f--- about this country. he is a fraud and a liar. hes family is elietest trash decended from european noblility. he isnt from texas he is from maine. he just pretends to be a good old boy so country people trust him.

and guess what every iraqi whos father is killed at a checkpoint or gunned down by blackwater mercs BECOMES A AN INSERGENT when before they just wanted to be left alone.

you do know that there was NO al quaeda in iraq before we got there right? and that saddam hated al queada. now there are many insergents there. so how is that protecting us from terrorism when a backpack nuke can waltz across the texas border at anytime.

bush protecting us from terrorism my ass

yeah i heard about that UFO business, but to be honest i would rather have a doofus who thinks he sees UFO's in the whitehouse, than an evil devious lying sack of horse poop son of maine elietists.

now even though i hate some of dennis socialst ideas he seems to me to be an honest good person. i see right through bush he is a liar through and through. id rather deal with honest well meaning doofuses (doofesi?)
than evil liars.

his whole "cowboy look im a texan" act is soo see through. why does he put on this act? because most of the country wont trust a blue blood rich political ahole family from new england...we learned not too from exsperiance. so he moves to texas and pretends hes a good oldboy.

if he is a texan than im egyptian because i lived in egypt for a few months.
let me assure you i am not egyptian haha.

Great politics. This is part of the demoncratic plan to smear McCain through GW.

This has zero chance of doing anything but spending millions on overpaid lobbyist's lawyers who have their own agendas.

I'm sure there will be more attention paid on the internet about this than any actual news outlet fed to the groove tube.
