Video shows bystanders ignoring hit-and-run victim

news.yahoo.com

HARTFORD, Conn. - A 78-year-old man is tossed like a rag doll by a hit-and-run driver and lies motionless on a busy city street as car after car goes by. Pedestrians gawk but appear to do nothing. One driver stops briefly but then pulls back into traffic. A man on a scooter slowly circles the victim before zipping away.

So is this where ur media and civic programs have led us? more compassion my butt. Try and argue that moving to a more progressive society means a more sensitive and compassionate one.

I laughed at the story. Alot of homeless people are around CT so they probly thought he was homeless. Things happen......If you think thats bad.......look around you. *Notice if you see the video people could have ran him over but people stopped in front of him from being run over. The scooter guy knew people were around so he continued on.

A 78 yr old man should not be walking city streets.
