Ethical constraints of using the monkey in this way aside, the concept of this is quite staggering, and the potential to aid disabled people is astounding. Every time I see something like this I marvel at the fact that humans can accomplish this stuff.

But...theres also some sinister military applications to this kind of thing - imagine some form of tank/robot - or aircraft control hard wired into the brain?

Also, it makes me wonder about the future, and how long it will be before we see the first true cyborgs walking amongst us. Its amazing, spooky and downright chilling at the same time...
