I too was listening and tried to find some news, zip. I will keep checking too. He did say the reports he had were that it was a huge explosion in the air right?

I don't see anything on the news sites. I've just been doing the rounds through them. I'll keep my eyes peeled too.

yes, and i hate to post something with no back up but i'm glad you can verify that i did hear him say that!

I got a little concerned and went to AP wire, breaking news and found nothing.

Thanks for helping me get to the bottom of this, both of you.

Reported as a Beechcraft B1900 departing Billings around 120am crashed into a building. Possible Alpine Aviation cargo flight.

How terribly odd.

They say the plane took off from the airport but changed directions.

I wish they would give a bit more detail on that statement. What do they mean "changed directions"??? Changed directions like coo-coo for cocoa puffs or changed directions as if trying to get back to the airport because something was wrong?

Officials say they are still looking for the pilot.

And that's a weird way to put it...he's in the burning wreckage, right? What do you mean you're looking for him? Wouldn't you say "looking for the pilot's body"?
