Five years ago if you were to turn on the television terrorism would have been the most discussed topic. However, since then in a span of five years
a movement that belonged to a handful of people has become a global sensation. Overnight environmentalism quickly spread the phrase global warming as
a scare tactic and it became another big thing for people to worry about next to terrorism. The environmental movement has been hijacked by big
business and politics as an attempt to have more control over us. What was initially started as an intelligent movement concerning ecological
sciences has now been turned into a religion. In some ways the modern movement resembles some aspects of Judeo-Christian theology. For example,
environmentalism has the concept that the Earth was a Garden of Eden full of virgin land before humans came and ruin it. This parallels with the
actions of Adam and Eve which corrupt the garden when they took the fruit from the Tree of Knowledge; as a result, they got expelled from Eden and
attain original sin. Moreover, the idea of global warming can represent the inferno of hell. If we repent, change our lifestyle, we are going live
happy in a green planet, heaven or Eden. If we don’t we are going to suffer and die in the fires of hell, global warming. The sin that the
movement has is a guilt stating that humans are responsible for destroying the planet. The only way of healing that guilt or repenting from original
sin is to buy eco-friendly products such as fluorescent light bulbs and changing your behavior like adding recycling to your lifestyle. If you do not
then you are evil and drive SUVs.
In addition, big business like the automobile industry view environmentalism as a new opportunity to cash in on the hysteria of saving the planet
from global warming. The automobile industry knows that people now quickly respond to anything that helps them salvage the Earth from total human
destruction. What has been accomplished is marketing “green to sell automobiles” to people in the global environmental cult. It is ironic to
observe the advertisement of vehicles aimed at people who are major believers in cars being one of the main factors contributing to green house gases.
Advertisement endorsers and designers are the modern Leonardo da Vincis, Raphaels and Michelangelos of today. They are intelligent and creative in
convincing people to consume to save the planet. If a commercial mentions the words green or eco-friendly it is almost as if it is the stamp of
approval to justify the sell and purchase of product even if you don’t need it. Just about every major industry tries to find ways to put this
stamp on their products or services to make people buy more and more contributing even more to the injury of Earth. Can people be this gullible?
Apparently yes. Big business has succeeded in convincing people that by buying and consuming you will be saving the planet! Businesses have turned
people into Pavlov dogs. People salivate every time they see a green product on television. They may not have use for it, but they’ll be happy to
buy it because it’s environmentally friendly. With the usage of televised commercials big industries have implanted the public with the mind set
that every individual is unique and has power to change the world and in this case saving Earth from global warming. This is the message they are
drilling into people’s minds every time an advertisement is seen and heard with green terminology. Businesses have discovered through the usage of
psychoanalysis that people buy products to obtain power to express themselves and feel good. As a result, businesses make products that help us
express our concern over the environment.
The green movement believes that the free market is responsible for polluting the planet and does not have the qualification for protecting the
environment; therefore, the environmentalists support bureaucratic sovereignty to manipulate the free markets. May I remind you that a free market
such as the one in the United States has made possible the technology, internet and television, that the greenies use to spread their green sermons.
Free markets are in danger of being grasped by a communist hand. The media prophets who preach to gather more sheep now have legions of foolish
followers supporting the environmental movement. These people who are supposedly leaders of the movement use the concept of global warming as a scare
tactic to persuade populations to repent for what they have done against the Earth for salvation or else we are all going to burn in hell. It is the
rapture post-Y2K style.
