Suicide blast kills 11 outside army base in Pakistan's volatile northwest

PESHAWAR, Pakistan: A suicide bomber blew himself up at the gate of an army base in Pakistan's militancy-plagued northwest on Sunday, killing at least 11 people including four soldiers, officials said.

The attack was the deadliest in more than two months and could complicate efforts by the new government to reach peace deals with militants. The talks have already been buffeted by a suspected U.S. missile strike that left several dead in a nearby tribal area.

It was very much likely to happen as couple of days back US targeted a Militants hideout by Missile killing more than a dozen of people. And I suspect more suicide attacks are likely to be carried out in other cities of Pakistan

How could Pakistan allow Missiles to roll over it's country, isn't that illegal under international law?? Why won't Pakistani government stand up for it's people??

Since Pakistan is the front line partner of US in War on Terror they have certain agreements regarding carrying out Missile attacks on hideouts of Militants inside Pakistan, under such agreement the US is bound to inform Pakistan prior to carry out such strikes however seems like this particular incident occurred without prior approval from the Government and infact Pakistan raised this issue, however it won't be dealt seriously... also these strikes are carried in Northern areas that borders with afghanistan and most of the Pakistani don't have access to it... 90% of Pakistani have not been that area since that is totally lawless territory ..... Pakistan are obviously frustrated by such strikes however it does not spark serious chaos in the country since these militants are very much unpopular among the general public... However they are concerned about the sovereignty of the country and that should not be compromised at any cost... !!!
