Hello, I'm new here and want to learn.

I have always experienced vivid dreams. If I am having a good dream I can even get up, go to the bathroom, get back in bed continue where I left off in the dream. Until a few years ago I thought everyone dreamed like this.

My question is have any of you used Melatonin before bed? I have found, as of last night, that using Melatonin increases my dreams to a point I can barely take!

Last night I had possibly the most vivid sexual dream I've ever had. I'm embarrassed to say it was with a celebrity and I am not one to think about celebrities at all. I don't even find this guy really attractive nor have I seen him in anything lately.

Any comments?

I regularly take melatonin before bed. I occasionally have a sexual dream but I can't say that I attribute them to the melatonin. If you vividly remember your dreams already, try taking some vitamin B-6 before bed one night. For me (many others as well) B-6 makes your dreams much more vivid and intense. Sometimes they have a darker tinge to them though, but for me that just makes them more exciting.

The Melatonin I take has 335mcg of B-6 added.

2.5mg Melatonin

I'm a little freaked by just how real it was and that's saying something considering I wake up some mornings exhausted from experiencing such vivid dreams.

Melatonin is a known tool for enhancing vivid and lucid dreaming.

I did one bottle of Melatonin a long time ago and it did have outrageously beautiful effects on my dreams. After that I stopped using it because of habituation - I can get a similar effect without. But I might pick up on it someday again.

In any case - yeah, definitely.

YEah loook i used to take melatonin before going to bed. Gets you off to sleep pretty nice. Cant say i had any "exciting sexual" dreams like that though, lol. But i did havea deeper sleep and felt waking up much more fresher ;-P

It used to give me horrendous nitemares ten years ago when a girlfriend had me try it. Now it just helps me sleep eight hours restfully. I'm out now. Fairly evident by my postings.
