How does a topic get negative votes? I saw it on the bin Laden ATSNN thread just a second ago.

Isn't that because the first 5 votes are a given "5" so it takes 6 real votes to get 1 vote.

I thought that it just started with 5....

Why would I be seeing a score of 5 with 0 votes, unless everyone voted 5 in 4 threads....

There was a minor omission in the ATSNN submission form to give a new story a default vote/score. It's fixed.
