As a native of the 'ville, I was saddened to see this happen. I was so moved by the sheer determination of Big Brown that when I heard about the
beauty Eight Belles, who died moments later, so tragically, I of course, cried.
In terms of relating this to Hillary, I say good omen for her. You know how they wish a performer good luck by saying, Break a Leg? Hill's horse
broke two of them, then had to be put down. That means double the good luck, in my opinion. Eight Belles sacrificed herself for her woman, Hill.
