Thought I'd drop in to mention Thunder. They are such a strong rock band with one of the best live acts and the superb live vocals of Danny Bowes.
Here's the lineup:

Luke Morley : Guitar, Back Vocals
Danny Bowes : Vocals
Chris Childs : Bass
Ben Matthews : Guitar, Keyboard
Harry James : Drums

Love the thread - a small island like Britain can be one of the most dominant forces in musical talent as well as being one of the most dominant cultures in the world. Great stuff!

I was in Newcastle last night for a very special occassion....the start of The Specials 30th Anniversary tour.
28years or so since all these guys were on stage together.....they were absolutely awesome, one of the best concerts I've been to, and I have been to literally hundreds!
Seriously considering going to the Brixton and Coventry gigs now.

The Specials were one of the most influential bands in the UK at the time who struck a chord with so many young kids. Their music stands the test of time too.
