The Secret History of the World As Laid Down by the Secret Societies

I was curious if anyone has read this book. It is called "The Secret History of the World as Laid Down by the Secret Societies." It is well written and is not just another book about conspiracies and secret societies running the world. Far from it. It was written by a scholar from Oxford who is now a journalist named Mark Booth. It deals with esoteric teachings from an outside perspective. It attempts to bring different cultures' mythology together to reveal a secret history. I found it very interesting and a good read. Just looking for some feedback.

I have the audio version of the book and am currently listening for the 5th time! (By the way- there are 13 CDs) It's a fantastic book, IMHO.
