Scientists with the European Space Agency (Esa) say the day when flowers bloom on the Moon has come closer.

An Esa-linked team has shown that marigolds can grow in crushed rock very like the lunar surface, with no need for plant food.

Its terraforming time baby.

Though perhaps first we might want to consider taking the helium-3 out of moon rock... thats too useful to be fed to plants!

Man! Growing plants on Moon Soil. I wonder if you can grow moon corn? If they ever grow moon wheat, I wonder if there would ever be moon wheat crop circles?
