This is the best recipe ever. Even folks who aren't super
crazy about lemon have liked these. The crust is the bast part!!

Lemon Bars

Crust:
2 cups flour
1 cup butter (softened)
1/2 cup powdered sugar

Filling:
4 eggs
2 cups sugar
1/3 cup lemon juice
1/4 cup flour
1/2 tsp baking powder

Preheat oven to 350. Mix the crust ingredients together and
press into a 13 x 9 dish. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until
lightly browned.

While crust is baking mix the eggs, sugar and lemon juice
until smooth. Whisk in the flour and baking powder and mix well.
When crust is done pour the filling over the hot crust and
bake for an additional 25 minutes or til set. When done baking
sprinkle with powdered sugar. Cool and cut iunto squares.

I love lemon bars. Aren't they yummy
I usually only make them around the holiday's though. Here's what I sometimes do in the summer, I cut them up and put them in a tupperware container and stick them in the freezer and my kids love to eat them frozen. Try that..they are good frozen and they don't get rock hard frozen.

Do you like carrot cake? if you do I'll share my carrot cake recipe with you...it's the best ever!

I don't like the smell when they're baking.... Yuk....

However, everyone does love them.

I just don't understand you. You don't like lemon bars or how
they smell but you will eat little canned meat product? (vienna
sausages I think they are called) What's up with that?
