I discovered it a few weeks ago, and after using it intensively every day, I can say I am very impressed by it. (I m a browser "collector", so I should know. :-)

It is called the "social browser", and it has a lot of social networking features.
(I don't use any of them because I am not interested in "socialising", let alone "networking", all over the WWW, so I couldn't really assess their usefulness.)

I chose to import the settings from Firefox, which is (still) my default browser, but I must say, so far it's worked much better - faster - than Firefox itself.
(And, unlike Safari, it has yet to crash on ATS. ; )

So, there you are.
I am sure you were wondering...

I am using Safari version 3.1 and found it has not crashed in xp or vista in over a month of use.(were you using the previous version- i found tha to be unstable and unusable)

I find ,actually, that it loads ats and has less issues than ie or ff-personally and professionally.

I probably am using the earlier version because I haven't upgraded since I installed it. (So many browsers, so little time!
)

Thanks - I'll check it out.

Just thought I would "update" you (since I wouldn't have installed the new version if it weren't for your suggestion): so far so good...
I am really impressed by Safari.
In my experience, it and Flock have been consistently outperforming Firefox.
(Notice that I am not even mentioning IE... And Opera: what's with that one? I keep reading how fast it is, but in my experience it's not only slow but unstable, totally flaky).

Thanks for the reminder to upgrade Safari!
