Man jumps from San Diego Coronado bridge. News keeps quiet!

www.10news.com

Police said a man has jumped to his death from the San Diego-Coronado Bay Bridge.

San Diego police Sgt. Rich Nemetz said the 25-year-old man talked with negotiators for about three hours before jumping early Sunday.

The man's body was recovered but his identity wasn't immediately released.

No other details were immediately available.

No other details? what the heck? We rarely get a guy jumping from this bridge (Coronado Landmark) and there's no follow up? I had to search for this story because no one was covering it. We get a few details and it makes no national news. And I rarely saw it on the news.

Perhaps. San Diego is expensive. I'd just like to know what made this guy jump off. We rarely get anyone jumping off our bridge like this. An obvious suicide. And then negotiation for 3 hours. something smells like fish. Did he know something? is the police hiding something? just wondering.

Every suicide is not national news. And the details are scant because establishing a positive ID takes a little while, and then the family is notified first so they don't hear about it on the TV first.

I don't see anything so strange about this at all. IMO.
