What would 911 disclosure do to the United States?

We can see serious momentum building in the 911 truth movement, with more and more officials and public figures now coming forward with their suspicions. My question is this? As Truthers rush to expose the truth, are they fully contemplating what such a revelation will do to the already damaged reputation of the United States? Are there extreem cases where it is best to ignore the truth, and is this one of them?

Let's assume 911 was an inside job. Should the truth really be out there? Will it just cause more missery?

Unfortunately, if 9/11 was an inside job, I rather suspect there are plans in place to deal with a wide range of circumstances arising from its disclosure.

At one end of the spectrum, this may take the form of trying to convince us that a change of administration equals a change of programme; at the other, full scale containment.

Well, there would be so much screaming for blood that about fifty people in our government would have to be executed and a war on Israel would have to be declared.
