The seller claims that the spirit within the cabinet trashed his store, gave his mom a stroke, and caused everyone in the house to have the same horrible nightmare! Everytime it happened, he noticed a really bad odor and sometimes, the doors opened mysteriously and he couldn't keep it shut!

Yea, things like this are on ebay all the time...I remember a "haunted jar" that went for thousands...hmm...a quick visit to an antique store, and a crafty story...I could be rich.

I would have bought it to investigate it. But, I would have left it in a warehouse.

I'd be inclined to take the box to the nearest Rabbi and ask for an exorcism. (Do Rabbis do exorcisms ?)

It says on the site that the granite says Shalom
and
"The Hebrew carving on the back, to my knowledge, is a relatively common Jewish prayer: Hear O Israel, the Lord is our God, the Lord is one. Blessed is the name of his honored kingdom forever. Said frequently at times of fear, death, etc... "

Cool find though SilQ. Don't think I'd buy it though. Maybe I'd pay a couple of bucks to investigate it, but I wouldn't want it.
