Here is a shocker for ya!

"President Bush (news - web sites)'s administration distorts scientific findings and seeks to manipulate experts' advice to avoid information that runs counter to its political beliefs, a private organization of scientists asserted on Wednesday.

The Union of Concerned Scientists contended in a report that "the scope and scale of the manipulation, suppression and misrepresentation of science by the Bush administration is unprecedented."

"We're not taking issue with administration policies. We're taking issue with the administration's distortion ... of the science related to some of its policies," said the group's president, Kurt Gottfried."

Well, if you let the president who didn't win go into office through lying and cheating, then wtf did you expect? Honesty?

oh god get over the election! The panzy ass dems lost! They had so many recounts that the supreme court had to cut them off! God help us if Al #!ing Gore had been the president during 911!

As for Bush distorting scientific info - you do realize that the sci AP, and the UCS in particuler are extreme liberals! You'll notice that he had to preface his statement with "We're not taking issue with administration policies. " That should tell you something - it should tell you that he has taken issue with the president enough that it would be of some concern. As the artical said, if they are messing up the facts, then they will fix it. The worst this denotes is that the Bush administration is having comunication issues with a group that is in direct opposition.
