Good thinking posting this here. the faster we spot the fakes the easier it will be for people to respect any real evidence that comes along

it is pretty easy to spot that it is fabricated - even if you do not know what the ` trick ` is

i sent the top image to a mate who is not on ATS and

his opinion - withn 5 minuites was :

i dont think thats a ghost - it looks more like a sculture or art exhibit , was it made from those polycarbonate roda and balls they use to make moecule models ?

this tupe of thing is what he was getting at



granted that a photo produced with this technique - would be free of any PS finger print - but to prevent an investigator concluding that it was artifical - you would have to PS the crap out of it - which is pretty self defeating

If you took a picture of a chicken wire ghost from a distance at a high resolution then shrunk it down, even with tons of image enhancement would you be able to pick out thats what its made of?
