What does it mean to Google someone????

What exactly does it mean when someone says, “ have you Google him or her yet”? Either I don’t know how to do it or not everyone can be google. So exactly how do you do it? What exactly does that phrase mean?

If you are saying to just put someones name in a search bar and you get their information. I mean you know how many people have the same name? No one really has a name all to themselves. I don't think everyone can be googled though then. Cause if thats the way you do it I have tried with my self and other family members and nothing really comes up.

Yeah or you might find your boyfriend on a gay meet up website.

Also typing their email address instead comes handy.

Why didn't you google what to google someone means?

I just tried the typing in an email address and nothing comes up at all.

I don't know maybe there is just nothing to be found on some people. So I guess that is a good thing. But, I'm still not sure I am doing it right.

I put the person's name in the actual search bar, am I right on doing that?

If you come across someone with the same name as you they are called a googleganger- from the Uban dictionary.
