Warm Areas of Body

At random times, a random part of my body all of a sudden gets very warm, almost hot. For instance, today I was driving and I accidently turned the gear to neutral and sort of freaked out, after that I felt the left side of my face get very warm almost like a heater was on my my face. What is this? Is it just blood rushing to that part of the body if so, why would it occur at random times?? Just before I posted this thread, my left foot became very warm, that was my inspiration to write this.

its nothing to see a doctor about, its perfectly normal...i think...it happens to me all the time, i kinda like the feeling
