FBI wants instant access to British identity data - Americans seek international database to carry iris, palm and finger prints

www.guardian.co.uk

Senior British police officials are talking to the FBI about an international database to hunt for major criminals and terrorists.
The US-initiated programme, "Server in the Sky", would take cooperation between the police forces way beyond the current faxing of fingerprints across the Atlantic. Allies in the "war against terror" - the US, UK, Australia, Canada and New Zealand - have formed a working group, the International Information Consortium, to plan their strategy.
Biometric measurements, irises or palm prints as well as fingerprints, and other personal information are likely to be exchanged across the network. One section will feature the world's most wanted suspects. The database could hold details of millions of criminals and suspects.

Given the fact we are ALL perceived as potential criminals and terrorists (Domestic and leaning towards violent radicalisation no less) then I'm sure we will all have our details on some "super" database.
Are there really criminals and terrorists numbering in the Millions that need tracking? I think not! The real bad guys probably number in the hundreds at the very most but the figure is padded out with people who attend peace marches, write articles critical of the leadership or are members of environmental / anti-war organisations.

Hell, I don't trust my own government with any data it may hold about me. so would I really want anything about me given to a foreign government?

The people dreaming up these schemes shroud themselves in ever increasing secrecy and shun any oversight, while forcing constant surveillance and scrutiny on the rest of us. Those seem to be the traits of psychotics and paranoid delusionals..... and they give these people big guns too
