ABC to Air Fictional Piece Linking Autism and Vaccines

www.usatoday.com
The premiere episode of Eli Stone, in which a mother wins a $5.2 million lawsuit charging her son got autism from a vaccine, is stirring controversy before it airs.

The American Academy of Pediatrics is calling on ABC to cancel the show, saying in a statement that it leaves audiences "with the destructive idea that vaccines do cause autism."

Its too bad for the AAP that autism is linked to mercury which is found in almost every vaccine.

The ABC show has an element of truth, whether intentional or not.

Stories like these 'sell' because people deep down know what is really going on. The problem with the conscious mind is that it likes to block out a lot of the things that go contrary to what the ego has constructed.

"Why would the government and doctors lie to us?"

Maybe they make too much money to change things...And its easier to go with the grain than against it. We've been poisoning ourselves for so long its become part of daily life.

Fluoride in toothpaste and water, mercury in our vaccines, heavy metals in our foods and soils.

This is nothing new under the sun, but it will get some of the masses to question vaccines whether or not there is an agenda behind this show (they could want you to buy 'natural' medicines now, which is a huge untapped market at the moment).

You are completely right.

This does happen all the time. I find it weird that ABC aired it.

Good point about the 'herbal/natural' market, which is indeed untapped, and somewhat unregulated.
