The topic of this thread focuses on the safety data records of the F-16 Falcon and its analysis, failure rate/type, the reasons for the crashes and their investigation conclusions, design and development stages/problems/solutions/, and its general safety record verses other single engine designs.
This thread is opened in order to ethically and civilly continue the discussion started in “High-Flying Troubles - United States Air Force safety record (F-16)” thread, which at this time is regrettably under dispute for moderator misconduct.
Original thread is here;
www.abovetopsecret.com...

Unfortunately the issue of moderator misconduct in the other thread has not yet been resolved, which in turn effectively derailed the original good faith nature of the discussion.

After respectful and repeated requests to lock the thread until the issue is fully resolved, regrettably the issue is being simply brushed aside by the same group of individuals, thus showing a clear disregard to the very basic “Deny Ignorance” virtue of ATS, and so I urge all ethical ATS members interested in discussing F-16 topic to do it right here.

Please let us not be dragged down by these unfortunate events and continue great ATS tradition of civil and intelligent discussion!
