Today is WA Mozart's birthday.

Nothing speaks more to Mozart's life than his music.

Mozart Ave Verum Corpus por Leonard Bernstein

Mozart - Divertimento K. 136

Mozart " Eine kleine Nachtmusik"

The Magic Flute - end of opera (duet and chorus)

Thank you for the music! So to speak.

Don't mean to whizz on your camp fire, but Mozart is dead, kicked the bucket, he is pushing up the daisies, the musical genius that surrounded his being has left for pastures new. The dead do not have birthdays!

Mores' the pity.

You're kidding!

I thought surely a man who was born in 1756 would still be with us.

I guess I should have read the biography at Wikipedia before I posted this.

Thanks for clarifying that for me.

How completely embarrassing.

One thing, however, even the living have only one birthday.

Most will celebrate the anniversaries of their birth, but for convenience sake, they will be called birthdays and those survivors who celebrate those anniversaries post mortem will continue to refer to those days as birthdays.
