Does anyone else see this as a ploy to get more cops on the streets, and enslave us even more?

I really think that if you gave that money to the people, then there would be no violence. Think about it. Distribute the money evenly to all the poor people in the city and then they could make the enconomey better. Hmm why give it to government waste to enslave people.

Just to let you know I do not endorse giving money away. I also do not like it when our government does it. But the reasoning it totally insane. More cops mean more liberties taken away. More liberties taken away mean more enslavement. So if they are going to give this money away then give it to the law abiding citizens who could use that money and repair the enconomey.
