A "novel" idea, but it's just another schoolyard gimmick. Considering the ratio of land to water on Earth, I doubt that anyone will find this thing and report back on it's landing. And that's provided they can even get it near enough to be "grabbed" by our gravity. Then it has to survive a very long time in the air with a possible wide variety of weather.

Well they will track it with a GPS device inside a RFID chip in the plane it self.

This is cool, they should realease a hundrend of them.
