Brian Lynn is sure we are not alone, after spotting a mysterious object in the skies above his holiday home.

Brian was fascinated to read about mum-of-four Neala Fenton, from New Herrington, whose mobile-phone footage of mysterious blue and pink lights appeared on the Echo's website.

Brian, from Shiney Row, has been scanning the skies ever since.
And his patience was rewarded when he saw strange lights above his caravan at Beamish Hall.

He took a series of snaps with his digital camera, and hopes someone may be able to shed some light on what he saw.

Is a more direct link to the slide show .

In the article it says they found it was pranksters. Dont know if this is still debated tho.

I don't suppose we're going to get any EXIF data, huh?

So, a handheld camera at night, probably with automatic exposure - any guesses on the shutter speed? Without that information and much more, these are just fuzzy blobs of light - very likely badly motion-blurred - that could be almost anything.
