Will there be anything cool to see in space from Earth this year? I live in Sweden so remember that I can't see stuff like I.S.S, so anything in the same hemisphere I won't be able to see. Or maybe any solar eclipse or comet?

And I want to go see the sky at night far from light some time because I have never seen anything more than a few stars in the sky, can anyone give some advice what's the best thing to see and when?

Thx a lot for any suggestions

You can use this site to track where the ISS is going to pass over. It shows that it does indeed pass over Stockholm

The best thing is to head out away from any major city to get a good view of the sky. You'll probably find that using a good quality pair of binoculars will show you much much more than a cheap telescope.

This program, Stellarium, can show you on your computer at any time, any where in the world what there is to see in the sky.
