Well this is news to me. Aparently the Russians had sent rovers to the moon back in the '70s. I never heard about this till yesterday. Two of them
successfuly landed on the moon and drove for miles over the surface and returned pictures.
I think NASA should do this now (or soonish anyway). Make it apart of the new mission to the Moon. Send some rover in advance to scout out areas that
may be of interest like, places for mining H3 or what have you. An extra bonus would be to go back and find an old apollo site or two to see what they
look like now. I'm sure they could build a rover that could run for a long time on the moon. Since the days are long and the sunlight doesn't get
blocked by anything. Solar power would work really well.
