For those who just want a glimpse of my view i offer some quotes:

  • A government big enough to give you everything you want, is strong enough to take everything you have.
  • A democracy is nothing more than mob rule, where fifty-one percent of the people may take away the rights of the other forty-nine.
  • All tyranny needs to gain a foothold is for people of good conscience to remain silent.
  • Educate and inform the whole mass of the people. They are the only sure reliance for the preservation of our liberty.
  • As our enemies have found we can reason like men, so now let us show them we can fight like men also.
  • Banking establishments are more dangerous than standing armies.
  • The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time, with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
  • If God is just, I tremble for my country.
--Thomas Jefferson
