This is my brother inlaw stationed in Iraq who was ripped off at christmas. Why would someone do this. Just unbeleiveable.

Well, to be blunt, it's because they're ass-hats!

My uncle, during WW2, had his brother wrap a bottle of scotch up in a thick piece of felt and mail it to him.

He received the bottle. Empty. Someone stole the booze and sent on the empty to him.
