I'll just say, he starts by spamming a website and ends up getting his life ruined. Was unbelievable.

This guy has been in life.

I have to admit, the guys in that forum have really ripped a hole in the spammer.

One of the biggest whoopings I've seen in a long time.

Fair play to all of the forums involved, I'm up to page number 12 and it's just hilarious.

It does seem that the thread has been spreading like wild fire and to see the list of sites with pointers to the thread is rather impressive.

The biggest pwnage in internet history was Lee Hotti on sherdog.com. Unfortunetly they deleted the pages (which i believe numbered in the hundreds).
He posted a picture of him and his friends before a UFC event in New Jersey. Him and all his friends basically all had that spiky guido hair, fake tan and plucked eyebrows. Here's a video on him:



There was a website leehotti.com, a wikipedia page, tons of stuff on him. He must've made a lawsuit because alot of it is gone

After reading that thread up to page 33 (9 more pages to go) I have to say that that Nick Sitko person is an idiot for not 'fessing up' when his bid to spam that board with his gambling website was up. But then everyone else there who posted all his personal information including his home address and that of his fiancé are even bigger idiots. Now it's not just Mr Sitko who has to pay for his mistake, but other people as well.

That's bad. Lynching is alive and well.

Anyway, another poster there made good points that mirror my feelings about this (page 33, post number 1618... T&C forbids me posting the link... find it yourself)

It's all fun and games until somebody gets hurt. In this case, Mr Sitko's fiancé and their 6 months old baby. Is it fair that they've got to pay for this tools' mistake? Is it fair that information about this guy (regardless of the fact that it was found within public records) were all compiled into one place to defame the guy? Isn't there some kind of law against that?

No it's not fair that the woman and the two children should suffer from the mistakes of another. To that I agree with.

Unfortunately for Nick, he willingly put onto the internet, private and personal data about himself and then abused certain T+C's which led to this very odd situation.

This is a prime example of how data can be used and abused, wether its private or not.
