Tax question.

This is probably not the right board but I could find a better one... so...

I know that all of us that live in America are pretty pissed off about taxes so my question is to the law people out there.

Has there ever been a law suit file againts the government for excess taxation? Not like the little ones that get files by the individual but a class action.

It seems to me that it would be pretty easy to prove that we are being unfairly taxed. Not to say that we shouldn't be taxed at all but that it shouldn't be what it is. I mean, I am paying at least half of my check to the government in tax. Food, gas, you name it.

As I recall, we went to war for something like a 4% tax. Anyway...
