MOSCOW (Reuters) - Russia and Iran have settled all differences over the construction of the Bushehr nuclear power station and agreed on a time-table for its completion, the Russian contractor building the station said on Thursday.

"We have resolved all the problems with the Iranians," said Sergei Shmatko, president of Atomstroiexport. "We have agreed with our Iranian colleagues a timeframe for completing the plant and we will make an announcement at the end of December.

The fuel has allready been made and sealed for the reactor - and confliciting reports is that it has been shipped as well.

Its only a matter of time till htis LPW type reactor goes hot - and , an LPW is totally not suitable for any weapons programme.

even if they would make several weapons, i do not see any reasons why they would use them - especially against nations that would have enough wipe-out power. Sure , Iran would solve all the problems if they would allow inspecion teams in.
Still one question in my mind- if the spy-sattelites are able to see the label on your shirt, why is the inspection needed??

erm , they have allowed the inspection teams in (which Israel threatened to kill the same teams btw when they wanted to go to Dimona) - the IAEA is happy with Iran - only the US administration and the Israel government is unhappy
