Those are some of my favs. Some of those movies are traditionaly scored and others are compilations of songs inserted into the movie.

the soundtrack to Forbidden Planet is really cool and moody. I believe it was/is considered to be the first soundtrack to feature nothing but electronic sounds, lots of theremin, bloops and bleeps....
