Dodds theory unfolds

www.fosters.com

A need for campaign exposure and lagging finances are the two reasons why prosecutors believe former congressional candidate Gary Dodds allegedly faked his disappearance following a car crash last year.

Dodds, 43, of 300 Sagamore Road, faces a felony charge of falsifying physical evidence and two misdemeanors stemming from his April 5, 2006, car accident on the Spaulding Turnpike. When rescuers arrived on scene, Dodds' vehicle was unoccupied and he was nowhere to be found.

I put up a story (linked above) on this back when it happened. At the time, I thought he might have become a target for being an honest politician.

Now it looks like he is as crooked as the rest of them. Is it being made to look that way because he wouldn't play along? Or was he really playing funny with the money and didn't want to be found out?

This thing just doesn't add up, no matter what angle you look at it from.
