Seems the recent interest in the public has brought this to the attention to the mass media. Today they are having a marathon all day on the History channel with the program UFO FILES.

UFO Day on Hist Channel

(including titles and descriptions)

Nothing new. Doubt it has anything to do with media awareness - Hist Channel has been doing this for many years.
