Animal rights activists are thought to be the first Britons to be asked to hand over to the police keys to data encrypted on their computers.

Whilst i dont condone the animal right's nutters that go around attacking people or property this latest development must surely be an infringement on privacy? and how long will it be before the police start to demand access to our computer's so they can snoop around "just in case" we might be comiting a crime?
