This is why government and religion shouldn't mix. You're wrong, homosexuals cannot get married. Marriage is a religious sacrament between a man
and a woman. That's the definition and you cannot change it just because government is involved.
Let's talk about another religious sacrament, baptism. What would the reaction be if the government decided to give benefits only to those citizens
that are baptised. Communion is another sacrament. Would it be fair for the government to give citizens who take communion tax benefits??
The real issue here is that government SHOULD NOT recognize marriage nor any other religious sacrament. From the government side, all "marriages"
should be a civil union, which would be legal regardless of the sexes involved. Wow, look at that, both sides would be happy. Gay couples can still
be legally recognized as a couple and we don't have to make a mockery of the prevailing religion in the Country to make it happen.
