I liked Miltons Paradise Lost and various Norse myths and legends and I figured it would be interesting to write about the imagined rebirth period 200 years after the events of Ragnorok. Mix Milton and Edda's and whalah...you get torn apart.

I know Vidar survived Ragnorok...just chill Norse buffs.

Someone out there might get it.

Put you viking helm, sword and sheild and bring on the mead.

Attend thy self,
Son of Angavidal
In all thy splendor
robed in ambrosial hubris,
richly adorned vainglory,
and perdurable swollen pride.
Thy lingering exultations,
hath fallen upon this opprobrious night,
charnal wing'd ear.

Bestir thy self, Angavid'r
Thy prostigious discontinious keening
both impale and grate upon my soul.
Interminable imperiousness and baleful nerve.
Hath breeched thy mortal coil,
world serpent's corpse and stone.
Cleft the grand celestial inferno.
Sundered the great illuminated fire
and pierced turgeant sea of torment
With cursed mortals breath.

Creature, let my grief not burdon thee.
Angavidal my father, has fallen thrice.
Away from glimmering halls of sheild and spear,
His bowels entwined in Yggdrasil's arms.
A vile corruption passed through him.
His still warm throne which may upon my sword be won,
awaits the end of my vigil. As does the lives of my brothers.

I see thy mortal wickedness,
Lifes crimson blood soaks not your hands,
but stains thy deceitful soul, thine eyes tell a tale.
Summoned forth am I to aid in said destruction
the ripe fruit of Angavidal's loines.
somewhat the day improves.

A platter now rotten of which
My hand does seek to wash.
First born of the wolf Urvid'r.
Second born of the Bear Halis.
Third born of the Raven Ulri.
Each carry Angavidal's last breath.
Attend each beast, and smite then down.
Name thy boon within mortal means and I will grant.

Fourth born of the serpent Angavid'r
Thy brothers lay in wait for thee
Summoned such corruption boasts proudly
I Will aid you in your noble hour.
Present thy shield and hammer.
For my gift to you shall linger beyond
Thy hour of need.
