Was Beagle 2 Knobbled by the Yanks

With the US declaring it owns space and means to control it, the moon conspiracy and all the rest of it is it likely that the US would not want other countries with the capablility to disprove the moon landing, just exactlly what is on the Martian surface etc. what do you think.

Could Beagle 2 have been taken out by NASA or by those who control it.

I doubt it. I don't know how America could have done anything to the craft, seeing as that it was all the way to Mars before something went wrong. On the other hand, sabotage during the manufacturing process, although unlikely, cannot be ruled out.

You do realize the little beastie was being sent commands from earth? A good, really good, hacker with good intel and support could crash it or turn it off.

Just a thought.
